Back to Blogging
It has been a little busy around here getting ready for school. I have been knitting but didn’t have much time to write about it. But now I am so excited about my new blog design, I’m inspired to do more blogging!
Here is the secret gift I was working on. It still needs buttons but is mostly done. The baby has been born and I will give it to his mom as soon as I can get buttons on it. The pattern is Daisy by Stephanie Pearl-McPhee better known as The Yarn Harlot. I chose not to use cotton but used Knit Picks Andean Silk in Lettuce. Unfortunately his mom will have to hand wash it, but after discussing it with a mother of 4 boys, I was convinced that the yarn was worth it. It is soft like butter!

The next project is one I have been wanting to do for a while. It is the Booga Bag knit, oddly enough, in the same yarn used in the pattern. I love the colors especially since it has been felted. It is blocking right now and then I will put the strap through and use it.

Lastly, Sassy apparently can’t get enough of Noro Kureyon yarn.
