New Projects
I finished the dishcloth I started a couple days ago. It was such a fun pattern, I even had a stranger comment on it when I was knitting in the waiting area at the Walmart tire and oil change. She was pretty excited to find out that the pattern is on the inside of the ball band of Peaches ‘n Cream yarn.
The project I just started is socks. I have missed having a pair of socks on my needles. I put my Bells and Whistles socks on some scrap yarn and banned it to the “bad knitting” area. I haven’t decided whether to frog and start over, keep going or frog and do something different.
The new pattern is called Monkey. It is a pretty fun pattern that is also challenging. I’m using a new yarn called Tofutsies in Stand On Your Own Two Feet. The yarn is very soft and very thin. Davy calls it thread… Here is how far I have gotten.
The picture is a little fuzzy. I think my camera was trying to focus on the dpn holder.
I’m planning on a relaxing weekend to recover from my busy life the last 2 weeks. Hopefully I will have good knitting progress to show next week. Until then, Happy Knitting!
