Today I pulled out some knitting I had forgotten from before Christmas. I was happy to see that there were a couple things I could finish. I picked them up and got some things done.
I had started another felted slipper project called Fuzzy Feet . These are the slippers I made for my parents. They report that the slippers are very warm and my parents wear them all the time. I got the grayish yarn on clearance at Knitochet. I decided that I wasn’t crazy about the color but when combined with the pink it was a pretty cool 80’s thing. I finished one of the slippers today.

I had to take advantage of the snow today for my background. I am loving the snow!!
I finished another project but won’t post the picture until the gift is given.
Another project finished is the Monkey socks I started in September. Once I worked on them, they went faster than I remembered and I really love these socks. I am looking forward to wearing them soon!

This picture was taken to show that while Davy was working hard on his Pre-Calculus, I was able to work on these socks.
The last thing I finished today was an impulse cast on. I was looking for a star to knit and I found one on Ravelry. It is meant to be a Christmas ornament but I wanted to use it for another project. It ended up being too big for the project I wanted it for so it will end up being a Christmas ornament.

There are my updates. What do you think?

I put the final touches on Davy’s sweater this week and it is completely done. I am so happy with it and the best part is so is he! He even wears it around the house with sweatpants because he thinks it is cozy and warm. He was home during daylight for the first time this week and I took the opportunity to take some pictures of him wearing his sweater. There are a few different poses so that you can get a good idea of what the sweater looks like.

Isn’t he handsome??

I also finished the Rainy Day Scarf and I’m almost done with the Baby Kimono. Here is a picture of the scarf.

Sassy had to be involved in the picture taking outside. This was our favorite!

Leave a comment and tell me what you think about the projects!

The sun has been shining here the last couple days and I have been loving it. There is only so much fog and overcast that I can take before I feel like I am living in a cave. Work is going reasonably well and my knitting is coming along just ducky.
Remember the Monkey socks from long ago. They were put on in hibernation mode for a while during Christmas Knitting Season. I pulled them out again and decided that they were never going to get done if I didn’t work on them. Here are the latest pictures.

Its a little hard to see the lace pattern in these pictures. There was one picture that you could see the lace pattern except the picture was a little fuzzy. Now I need to work on the other sock
I pinned the zipper in Davy’s Sweater yesterday and I think I am going to re-pin it. I don’t know whether I want the zipper to go all the way up or not. Here is what it currently looks like.

This picture is a little fuzzy (I must be shaky or something) but you get the idea.
The other project I have going is the Baby Kimono. I have this going for last minute baby shower gift stash. It is pretty mindless and fun.

The last project is one I haven’t cast on for yet. I bought some yarn today to match the lovely “Fetching” mits I received for Christmas from my friend, Jessica.
The yarn is yummy and I can’t wait to knit with it.

Well, that is all for now. I hope it is sunny where you are!
