Progress…
I continue to work on my knitting projects. After talking to the lady at the yarn shop last week I had renewed desire to pick up the Bells and Whistles socks. I found myself with a little extra time this afternoon. (I could be painting my bedroom but I can’t move furniture by myself.) I was happy to see that after 5 months of not knitting socks, I can still do it. Since beginning to knit socks in January of 2006, I have always had a pair on needles and actually worked on them faithfully. I can’t believe I let a little thing like intimidation stop me.
Let me tell you a little about these socks. I mentioned the pattern in a previous post and I am knitting them in Sockotta yarn in an unknown colorway as I have lost the label. I am using Addi bamboo needles, size zero. This is the first pattern that I have a) followed a chart and b) used a cable needle. I would recommend learning cables on some project other than socks with size zero dpns. Adding another needle to the mix is, shall we say, dangerous interesting.
Well, enough chatter - here is the good stuff.
