Ravelry
I was invited to join the new knit and crochet community called Ravelry. I was so excited because of all the wonderful things I had heard about it and got on the waiting list a while ago. Since joining I have listed my works in progress and some of my finished objects complete with pictures. Saturday night I did an inventory of my entire stash and found out I don’t really have THAT much yarn. The site also has a tool for you to inventory your needles and print out a little card (so that you don’t end up with 5 sets of size 2 dpns). I utilized that too. As you can see, I am really in to this site right now.
The best part is that I found someone here in Walla Walla that would like to get together and knit. We are trying right now to see what day/time will work the best.
Now I am looking on my computer for pictures of older finished objects. I may have to ask friends and family to take pictures of their gifts and send them to me so I have a record of most, if not all, of my FOs.
There has been no knitting to update you on. We are so busy doing registration right now there isn’t much time for anything else. Plus, I just bought 100# of apples to make applesauce! ![]()
