Vacation Pictures
Life here has been a little crazy since arriving home. We walked in late Monday night to an area of sopping-wet carpet in our bedroom, near the bathroom. Dave spent all day yesterday in the crawl space fixing the leak. Now we will have to replace the floors and probably do the bathroom remodel that we were going to do eventually, just not right away. While Dave was doing that, I spent 5 hours weeding our garden. Two weeks is a long time for weeds to get the upper hand, but no longer. I think, however, that I have strained my wrists and may have to take a break from knitting for the time being.
Here are a few vacation photos for your enjoyment.
First is a funny picture where apparently my sisters and I don’t know what camera to look at:

Here is Preston on the boat some friends took us out on to see Lake Michigan.

We had to stop at Wall Drug which is advertised as soon as you cross in to South Dakota. There is a sign for the store every 5 miles (it might have just seemed that way). Here are some pictures from this famous landmark. By the way, if you are ever in the area, they had the best donuts we have ever tasted!

After stopping at Wall Drug, we spent the night at a hotel with a great slide. We got some great pictures of us enjoying it.

Don’t you love how Preston exits the slide??
Here we are in Bozeman, MT with some family from Colorado Springs that happened to also be there. What a nice surprise!

And finally, when we were in Montana we spent a couple days with Dave’s dad who is in a little hospital in Ennis. He wanted a Blizzard Party and here we are enjoying our feast.

Until next time ~ Happy Knitting!
