What I Like and Dislike About Crochet
As promised, I am ready to write what I like and dislike about crochet. I haven’t done any knitting for the last week or so and am ready to get back at it.
Likes:
- Crochet is fast. I knit a small afghan in a little over a week.
- Frogging isn’t nearly as difficult. You only have one loop to find instead of a row.
- There is no binding off. You are doing that as you go along.
- There are some pretty cute patterns out there.
Dislikes:
- I’m not crazy about how it looks. It reminds me of stuff my grandmothers had lying around.
- It takes a lot more yarn to make something similar in size.
- Some knitters will make you feel like you are involved in some sort of underworld activity.
As you can see, there are more likes than dislikes. As a result, I will continue to crochet although not as much as I knit.
And now the finished product:

Doesn’t Dave look thrilled to be in the picture?
Next time - More knitting!!!
