What I’ve Been Up To
It has been a little while since my last post. What have I been up to during the last week?
I have started another Christmas hat. I was getting tired of stockinette so I changed the pattern a little. It is very different, but I like it. (The pumpkin is from our garden.)

I have worked a little more on Monkey. I dropped a stitch while knitting the heel flap so I frogged back and knit it again. I am still loving this yarn!

The knitting portion of the lace bag I am making is done. I changed the lace pattern to a feather and fan stitch. It is one that is easy to memorize and isn’t quite so open. All I have to do now is find some fabric to line it, some ribbon for the top and to sew the side seams.

The project I worked on the most this last week was a dog sweater for a co-worker’s dog. I started it on Monday and gave it to her on Thursday afternoon. I didn’t take any pictures but she said she would take a picture of Sofie wearing the sweater. I will post the pictures once I have them.
On Sabbath afternoon Dave, Preston, Choplet and I went for a walk on top of the local Pike’s Peak. It was a beautiful afternoon and we walked about 4.5 miles. When we got back Durant came over for pizza and a movie. I will leave you with pictures from our hike.

Happy Knitting!
